Ubitus Officially Debuts AI VTuber Ubi-chan, the First Virtual Influencer Powered by AI in Taiwan

In December 2023, Ubitus K.K. (hereinafter Ubitus) achieved a significant milestone by launching their AI VTuber, Ubi-chan. They initiated the regular release of Ubi-chan’s diverse multimedia content on YouTube and X. Ubi-chan is an innovative creation, leveraging UbiGPT, Ubitus’ proprietary AI technology. Enhanced with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) integration, this AI is adept at absorbing various engaging anime concepts and conversational interactions. Advanced Japanese voice processing technology further enhances Ubi-chan’s abilities, allowing her to display a wide range of emotional expressions and dynamic physical performances. While traditional VTubers rely on human actors for performances and learning brand-related content, AI-driven VTubers can swiftly analyze and interpret complex material, such as novels, enabling them to deliver spontaneous and articulate presentations.
