Ubitus Wins Double Honors at the 2025 Digital Singularity Awards

Ubitus, a global leader in cloud streaming and AI technology, received two top honors at the 2025 Digital Singularity Awards. Its self-developed AI Healthcare Robotics project won both the Gold Award for Best AI Application Innovation and the Grand Award in the Innovation Category, making it one of the biggest highlights of the event.

This year’s theme, “Aha Moment—The Resonance Between AI and People,” emphasized the importance of creations truly realized through human–AI collaboration. Jury Chair Chung-Chu Lee delivered a memorable reflection:

“When AI becomes your colleague, what would it say to you? Perhaps—‘It’s good because of you.’”

Ubitus’ award-winning project exemplifies this vision. By integrating large language models, AI Quadruped, AI AMR, and AI virtual avatars—built on NVIDIA Omniverse and Isaac platforms—Ubitus successfully created an intelligent healthcare system capable of semantic understanding, spatial awareness, and collaborative operation with healthcare staff.

The solution has already been deployed at Mackay Memorial Hospital.

The AI Quadruped, stationed in the emergency department, performs air-quality monitoring, temperature anomaly detection, fire-risk prevention, safety patrols, and fall detection (automatic alerts when a person is found lying down). These functions significantly enhance IHCA (in-hospital cardiac arrest) rescue rates and overall safety management efficiency.
The AI AMR serves as a multilingual assistant for patient navigation, translation, health-education Q&A, and emotional interaction. It autonomously plans optimal routes and reduces indirect and related nursing workload, enabling medical staff to “return to the core of patient care.”

Ubitus stated that it will continue to expand AI deployment across healthcare, education, retail, and manufacturing, building AI technologies that truly resonate with people and deliver real-world impact.
