Ubitus, in collaboration with Supermicro demonstrate an optimized solution for cloud gaming and metaverse at AI EXPO in Japan

Ubitus K.K., a world-leading cloud gaming technology provider, is working with Intel and Supermicro (NASDAQ: SMCI) to demonstrate advanced cloud gaming and metaverse platform at AI EXPO TOKYO Autumn, targeting ISV and partners who are interested in leveraging the power of the cloud and 5G.
In collaboration with Intel and Supermicro, Ubitus has developed an integrated and optimized HW/SW solution to support computation, graphics, and bandwidth intensive applications, such as cloud gaming and metaverse at the event. With Supermicro solutions for cloud gaming – the Hyper-E highly configurable rackmount 2U edge server is equipped with two of the latest Intel Data Center GPU Flex Series accelerators supporting both cloud gaming and metaverse applications can run smoothly with quality as high as 4K and 60FPS. Users can access games and the metaverse with a broad range of devices: laptop, mobile phone, tablet, console and TV.
In addition to high performance, the Supermicro and Intel-based solution also enables Ubitus running Android-based games. The solution is expected to support Windows-based games and contents in the next stage.
